AMS Feeding & Compatibility
- bambu-h2s-material-reference — full AMS-compatible / not-compatible list; PAHT-CF brittleness risk inside AMS channels; PPA-CF must exit via the TPU backplate port even with an AMS HT
- 3d-printing — expansion ceiling (4x AMS 2 Pro + 8x AMS HT,
FAZ013-Nadapter)
Filament Drying
- bambu-h2s-material-reference — the big gotcha: AMS 2 Pro’s 65 °C ceiling is “Not recommended” for ABS, ASA, PC, PA, PAHT-CF, PET-CF, TPU; AMS HT conditions (PC 80/8h, PAHT-CF 85/12h, PET-CF 80/12h, ABS+ASA 80/8h)
Material Properties
- bambu-h2s-material-reference — HDT/impact/tensile ratings out of 5; PC 4/4/4 is the best-balanced rigid engineering grade, PAHT-CF 5/2/5 and PET-CF 5/1/5 buy stiffness with impact resistance
Material Selection Decisions
-
krakenpi-carbox — in-car SDR enclosure: ASA / PETG / PC, never PLA. A parked car’s dashboard hits 70–80 °C, at or above PLA’s Tg — a PLA box sags and drops the hardware. ASA and PC are the safer two on heat; PETG is the marginal one. Knock-on: neither ASA nor PC can be dried in the AMS 2 Pro (65 °C ceiling)
-
bambu-h2s-material-reference — PC FR for the vehicle ECU box, PAHT-CF for high-temp/structural, PETG-CF as the CF entry point, PLA/ASA Aero for weight-critical RC; PET-CF rejected as default (impact 1/5, no AMS feed)

3d-printing — the working material set at a glance
Build Volume & Part Sizing
- krakenpi-carbox — H2S build volume 340 x 320 x 340 mm; the 312 x 145 x 50 mm CarBox and its lid each print in one piece with no diagonal placement trick, and the mount ears widen it to only 173 mm in Y
Nozzles & Hardware
- bambu-h2s-material-reference — nozzle material is fixed per size: 0.4/0.6/0.8 + 0.4 High Flow all hardened steel, only 0.2 mm stainless; stock 0.4 mm is CF-capable out of the box. 0.4 mm Bambu-tested for PLA-CF/PETG-CF, 0.6 mm for the harsher CF/GF grades, 0.4 High Flow “Not recommended” on anything filled. Hotend pricing: steel €19.99 (HRA 74) vs tungsten carbide €59.99 (HRA 90, ~50 % longer on abrasives)
- 3d-printing — H2S spec (350 °C hotend, 65 °C chamber); nozzle-hardness question resolved 2026-08-07
Pricing & Purchasing
- bambu-h2s-material-reference — EU per-kg prices Aug 2026; bulk sale covers only PLA/PETG/ABS commodity grades (4/6/10 rolls → −35/−45/−50 %), no engineering material qualifies
Temperatures
- bambu-h2s-material-reference — nozzle and bed ranges per material, PETG-CF 240–270 through PPS-CF 310–340
